MONTANWERKE BRIXLEGG

The Montanwerke Brixlegg AG is specialised in the recovery of copper and other valuable metals from scrap copper and other copper-containing secondary materials and is the only copper producer in Austria. Based in Brixlegg in Tyrol, the copper refinery is located right in the centre of Europe with excellent rail and road connections to Italy, Germany, Switzerland as well as to East European countries. The firm also has a copper refinery in Slovakia with its subsidiary company, Kovohuty Krompachy a.s., thus strengthening the presence in East and South-east Europe.
