MONTANWERKE BRIXLEGG

The Montanwerke Brixlegg AG is specialised in the recovery of copper and other valuable metals from scrap copper and other secondary materials with copper content and is the only copper producer in Austria.

Based in Brixlegg in Tyrol, the copper refinery is located right in the centre of Europe with excellent rail and road connections to Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Eastern Europe.

The company also owns a subsidiary, Kovohuty, a.s. Krompachy in Slovakia, strengthening its presence in east and south-east Europe.
