THE COMPANY

Montanwerke Brixlegg is an Austrian company with a history rich in tradition. Copper and silver has been produced in Brixlegg for over 500 years (History).

Our exports, amounting to over 80%, have high brand awareness, are of excellent quality and have a widely diversified range of application which is what sets our products apart. The “BRX” brand is a trademark that is recognised the world over.

Since June 2004, Montanwerke Brixlegg AG has been a part of the A-TEC Industries AG (Owners) with its headquarters in Vienna. This international group of industries works successfully in the fields of electric motor production, plant construction and machine tool manufacture and employs about 4,700 people there.

With the A-TEC take-over, a new management team was established in Brixlegg.
