TRAINING - Electrical Engineering Technician

The training takes three and a half years.

Job description according to bmwfi:

  1. Read and apply technical documents
  2. Define procedures, materials and methods
  3. Plan and direct operating sequences, evaluate results, apply quality management systems
  4. Perform tasks in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations, norms, safety standards and environmental standards
  5. Select, purchase and test materials required
  6. Diagnose, isolate and eliminate faults, deficiencies and disorders
  7. Assemble, install, set up, test, operate and maintain systems for power supply and distribution, control technology, metrology and feedback control technology
  8. Service, test and replace pneumatic, electromechanical and electronic components and modules
  9. Manufacture and replace appliamces and spare parts for operational equipment, machines and installations
  10. Measure and check electrical and typically-occuring non-electrical quantities
  11. Diagnose, isolate and eliminate faults, deficiencies and disorders in electrical components, appliances, machines and installations
  12. Draft, check, re-draft and document safety precautions to protect against personal injury
  13. Gather and document technical data about processes and results
